Activist rabbi declares Israel is not a Jewish state

    A rabbi said something yesterday that hooked onto my imagination like a bare arm stuck in a catch ’n’ keep plant. Rabbi Alissa Wise told Amy Goodman and her  Democracy Now listeners, “Israel is a state that is acting in its own interests, that has actually nothing to do with Jewish tradition or Jewish values.”
