    On October 27, 1914 the Welch poet  Dylan Thomas was born. The most prolific songwriter of our time, Bob Dylan, took his name from Dylan Thomas. Dylan (Bob) when asked about changing his name from Zimmerman to Dylan, said “You’re born, you know, the wrong names, wrong parents.”
